Tehya Jennett

Telling climate stories through film + art.

I primarily draw upon themes and feelings related to otherness, and how in that space you find kinship and connection. Growing up amidst the climate crisis, I use art as a form of resilience building and resistance. I combine my research & academic background in environmental ethics within my creative work to connect my own climate emotions and response to ecological grief within abstract interpretations of the world through painting, film, mixed media, and found material work.
